Method Functional Safety works in partnership with TUV Sud to certify delegates for the award of “Functional Safety Expert” in IEC 61511 and IEC 61508. This prestigious award recognises a high level of formal training, knowledge and experience in the field.
Those who are awarded “FS Expert” can demonstrate an involvement in functional safety over an extended period of time, the ability to lead a functional safety project and have a history of presenting papers at conferences, working in industry associations or developing related standards and guidance.
=Method will support you to collect and present evidence that you meet the requirements for certification as an expert, then manage the application with TUV Sud on your behalf. If =Method identifies any gaps in your evidence, we will advise you as to what actions you can take to fill those gaps.
Requirements for TUV Functional Safety Expert certification with =Method:
The application fee for TUV Functional Safety Expert certification is £1800 + VAT. The fee is only paid when the Functional Safety Expert award is made.
