Who should attend

This training is targetted at individuals, managers and teams who:

• Have an operational role and are directly or indirectly involved with safety instrumented systems and projects at any stage of the functional safety lifecycle.
• Require a general introduction and awareness of the functional safety standards and the key requirements for compliance.

Pre-qualification

A good understanding of process plant and previous experience working in the process industry with manual and automated processes.

After this training course you will

• Have an appreciation of functional safety, the functional safety lifecycle and its relevance to operational tasks.
• Understand the importance of “compliance” and “working safely” throughout the “operate, maintain, repair” FS lifecycle stages.
